Why I Teach Homeowners.
I started this work for a simple reason: I’ve seen too many good people go into debt over basic home repairs. I’ve spent my whole career fixing things and helping people feel more confident in their own homes.
As a service technician, I walked into thousands of homes where families were stressed, overwhelmed, or stuck choosing between fixing something important and paying their other bills. Lower-income and working-class homeowners were getting priced out of even the simplest repairs, not because they lacked ability — but because nobody ever taught them how to take care of their own homes.
That never sat right with me.
For more than 14 years, I’ve worked across plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, and home systems. I also spent 5 years teaching basic electricity and HVAC-R at an accredited college, working with the second-chance students, adults rebuilding their lives, and people who were told they’d “never get it.”
Teaching them showed me something important:
Most people can learn these skills — they just need patience, clear explanations, and someone who respects them.
That’s why I started this business.
My values are simple: Respect. Honesty. Patience. Compassion. Safety.
I teach the way I wish others had taught me — with no judgement. no pressure, and at your pace.
I’m not fluent in Spanish, but I work with bilingual households regularly, and I take extra time when needed to make sure everything is explained clearly. If communication takes a little longer, that’s fine — everyone deserves to learn and feel supported.
If you’re ready to learn at your pace, build real skills, and take control of your home projects with confidence, I’m here to help.
